Mercia Design and Build Ltd are currently looking to welcome an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. At Mercia, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and creating lasting results for our clients. We work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, from refurbishments and extensions to bespoke builds and high-quality finishes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Carpenter who takes pride in their work who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking company.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of carpentry work, including first and second fix carpentry, as well as bespoke joinery and general woodwork repairs. You'll work both independently and as part of a team across residential and commercial projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools. Ability to work accurately from technical drawings. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Commitment to health & safety on site. NVQ or equivalent qualification in Carpentry (preferred but not essential). Full UK driving licence (essential).
