We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The job is for Nationwide Installations of our luxury wooden gazebos & garden rooms. There will be lots of travelling, staying in hotels when necessary and ability to be long hours on the road is necessary as we are a nationwide company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing our Crown Pavilions wooden gazebos and garden room structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
Duties
Nationwide installations
Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling structures.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Execute joinery techniques to create strong connections between different components.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
Construct roofs and other structural elements in compliance with building codes. .
Assist with electrical installations as needed, ensuring safety standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Nationwide travelling & installations required
Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
Strong understanding of joinery techniques and structural principles.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry.
Familiarity with masonry work is advantageous but not essential.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
