Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, cabinetry, and various carpentry disciplines, with the ability to interpret blueprints and work on diverse projects including restoration, remodeling, and custom fabrication. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-quality projects in a dynamic environment, utilizing both traditional hand tools and modern power tools to deliver exceptional craftsmanship.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for cabinetry, framing, and other carpentry projects Construct, install, and repair cabinets, furniture, fixtures, doors, siding, and other woodwork components Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Measure accurately for cutting and fitting components to specifications Fabricate custom woodwork or metal components as needed for specific projects Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment as necessary Maintain a clean and organized worksite adhering to safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high quality standards

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or cabinet making preferred Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, saws, sanders; CNC machinery is a plus Knowledge of fabrication techniques for woodworking or metalworking industries Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments
