Call-Out Rota:

Participation in a 24-hour emergency call-out rota may be required.

The RTR Group is a well-established provider of building and property services, operating across Essex, Kent, and nationwide. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter - Multi-Trade professional for a temporary contract position based in and around Dartford. You will need to have your own Van, tools will be provided.

This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with core carpentry skills and additional experience in general property maintenance including plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.

Key Responsibilities:

Carpentry Duties:

Install and repair windows, doors, skirting boards, floors, staircases, and wooden structures Fit kitchens, units, and fixtures to a high standard

Multi-Trade Tasks:

Plumbing: Minor repairs, such as fixing leaks and installing pipework Painting & Decorating: Prepping surfaces and applying finishes General Maintenance: Day-to-day maintenance tasks across occupied and vacant properties

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in carpentry and at least two other trade areas (e.g. plumbing, decorating) Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings/specs Strong attention to detail and initiative Capable of working independently and as part of a team Physically fit and adaptable across environments Basic electrical knowledge is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) Multi-trade qualifications beneficial CSCS card preferred Full UK driving licence Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar multi-skilled role
