Overview

Evans Brynmorfydd is a family company that have been successfully contracting throughout Wales and the UK for over 20 years.

We are seeking 1-2 skilled carpenter/joiners to join our team with an immediate start date, working on either an employed or sub-contractor basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to joinery and carpentry, and other varied maintenance, repair and building works.

Duties

- Kitchen fitting

- Joinery

- Carpentry

- Property maintenance & Repair

- Various projects could include some elements of plumbing / building / ground works

Experience

- Previous experience in joinery or a similar role is desirable

- Knowledge of operating relevant tools and machinery

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a hard working team.

- A valid driving licence would be advantageous

The role

The role will give the successful applicant incredible and varied experience working within a small team on projects for mainly residential and industrial properties.

With such a varied schedule comes the opportunity to learn new skills and we are keen to support your learning by providing diverse projects for you to hone your current skills and learn new ones.

The role will mainly be working in the local area, but can also be further afield, so flexibility to work away from home on occasion, or travel to a job may be required in some instances. Allowances will be made for subsistence and travel.

The salary is negotiable subject to experience.
