Skilled Tradespeople - CG Building and Restoration

At CG Building and Restoration Ltd, based in York, we deliver superior craftsmanship and carefully managed construction for discerning clients across Yorkshire and beyond. We work closely with homeowners, architects, and developers, ensuring every build is completed to the highest standard.

The Role

We're looking for skilled tradespeople with a strong understanding of domestic building works -- internal, structural, and external. You should be confident setting out foundations and drainage, and experienced in domestic concrete works, simple finishing, and restoration detailing. Much of our work is in private homes and heritage properties, so diligence, discretion, and pride in your craft are essential.

Vacancies are available in both our main project build teams and our small works and maintenance department. Opportunities include:

Bricklayers Carpenters and Joiners Groundworkers Multi?skilled tradespeople with general building experience
We also welcome:

Tradespeople with supervisory experience managing teams and/or building works Experienced tradespeople looking to take the next step into a supervisory or management role

Requirements

Minimum 10 years' experience in general building or joinery Strong references and portfolio of quality work Ability to work respectfully in occupied homes Experience with listed buildings or homes of architectural significance is a plus Full UK driving licence
