We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role involves interpreting schematics, and executing carpet cutting and fitting duties. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Interpret and work from schematics to cut and fit carpet. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various fitting tasks. Perform carpentry work, including cutting, shaping, and installing materials as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpet fitting or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is required. Strong carpentry skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Pay: 150.00-180.00 per day
