Role Overview





Wincanton is recruiting for a Carrier Management analyst within its managed services team to review and analyse data and to be up to date on all daily activities within the managed services function.



This challenging and exciting role will appeal to individuals with a thirst for data analysis and parcel carrier services.




Location: NN4 7BW.


(Grade AT4, 25k - 30k)


Reporting to: Carrier Manager

Duties And Responsibilities



Analyse reports daily to identify trends/issues and follow up with resolution Escalate any trends/issues that fall outside of an acceptable service level to carrier manager Attend and support the carrier manager in carrier, client, and supplier meetings - taking minutes and sending to manager following meetings Administration and reporting of delivery status', identifying exceptions, and providing details of potential failed deliveries to the customer to reduce WISMO calls and failures to end consumer Design, generate and distribute multiple reports, ensuring the highest level of data accuracy Provide insight for weekly team calls Trailer collection administration - failed and additional requests Be the front-line link between the client customer services and the carriers ensuring excellent communication Own the exceptions reporting and propose improvements and efficiencies in process and procedure Working within deadlines, preparation and circulation of carrier reports and other ad hoc reporting or administrative duties as required Process enquiries via email and phone clearly and in a timely manner Build and own effective relationships with carriers and liaise regularly to become a vital link between them and our clients as their first point of contact for any operational or compliance issues Respect and support your colleagues in achieving the team goal Uphold the standards of performance set by the client, Wincanton, and the CMS team On time in full-service reports Lost in transit Claims Invoicing - and all reconciliation activity Exceptions Weekly, monthly and quarterly packs

Essential



Minimum of 2 years' administrative experience, ideally in a carrier / logistics related environment Excellent use of MS Excel (for example. Vlookup, pivot tables, macros, and calculative formulas), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. BI reporting experience would be a advantageous. Highly organized, ability to manage own time and work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards, delivering within deadlines, and having sound attention to detail Great communication skills; communicates professionally, simply, and clearly, confidently challenge, shares ideas and information with others Excellent phone manner; can manage incoming/outgoing telephone calls politely and confidently Experience in liaising with multiple stakeholders to build strong relationships Problem solving and decision making; actively seeks and is open minded to ideas, makes decision based on information and evidence, resolves issues promptly but also allows others to provide solutions
