Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers have a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually where applicable. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations diligently. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately. Experience in guest services or customer care roles is beneficial. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a team setting.
