We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carvery Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Carvery Chef, you will play a crucial role in speaking with our guests and serving them succulent meats.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the cooking process. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours, demonstrating effective team management skills. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation techniques as needed. Help create new menu items or specials, contributing fresh ideas to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a chef Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. A passion for food production and preparation, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
