We require Level 3 caseworker with experience in all appeal work including lodging notice of appeal against refusal as well as the conduct of specialist casework.
Candidate required to have a high level of knowledge of immigration law and practice in particular in asylum appeals, including a thorough understanding of relevant case law, human rights legislation and asylum law, where applicable.
Responsibilities:
Register appeals
Preparation of cases at the First-tier and Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)
Keep clients informed at each stage of appeal process
Prepare, review appeal bundle;
Conduct legal research and remain informed of changes in immigration law and policy
Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate effectively with the team while managing workload
Qualifications & Experience
:
UK Law degree (advantageous)
IAA (OISC) Levels 3 accreditation (minimum 2 years post-qualification experience)
Ability to work independently and flexibly in a remote or office setting
File management experience and an awareness of compliance duties
Excellent communication and client care skills
