The main responsibilities will be cash allocations in a high volume fast paced environment. Posting cash and allocating it quickly and efficiently with accuracy. Investigating anomalies and dealing with customer and client queries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Allocation of customer payments, ensuring accurate matching to the customer accounts.
Liaise with the credit control teams on any issues with cash allocation.
Resolution of customer payment queries.
Chase Remittances for unallocated payments.
Inputting customer refunds into the system and matching accurately.
Uploading customer credit card payments into the system and allocating.
Journals for miss posting of cash across ledgers and currency transfers.
Issue daily allocation reports and weekly unallocated cash sheets.
Knowledge/Skills Required
Essential
2+ years experience in a similar role
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in entering data accurately and efficiently.
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and colleagues.
Strong and confident computer skills with good experience of working with Word and Excel.
Proven ability to work well in a team
