Job Description

A part-time position is currently available. We are seeking to employ a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic individual in our sports and amusement hall. The job will involve evening and weekend work so candidates must be able to work these hours, and be flexible in their availability for shifts. Whilst working you will be solely responsible for the day to day running of the business, so being able to work on your own initiative is important. The job offers employment in a generally very pleasant environment, and would suit a wide range of applicants. Previous customer service and cash handling experience would be desirable, but not essential. A general interest in sports including snooker and pool would be beneficial though not essential.

The role will involve:

Welcoming customers into the business, and offering tea /coffee and refreshments to customers when required. Ensuring the cash balance held is correct at all stages of your shift. Ensuring the business premises are clean and presentable to the public at all times. Ensuring pool and snooker tables are always maintained to a high standard for play. Key holding duties / opening and closing the business. Generally 6/ 7 hour evening shifts from 5 or 6pm. (Usually 2 from Friday/Saturday & Sunday.)Day shifts from 9.30am - 5/6pm. 3/4 shifts per week. Must be able and willing to cover other shifts as and when required.
