  • - Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Upsell additional products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area
- Assist with resolving customer complaints
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or store policies Betting shops have a lively dynamic atmosphere - no two days ever feel the same. A great job for enhancing communication with strangers and learning risk management skills. Opening hours are normally between 9am \xe2\x80\x93 9:30pm, Monday through Sunday. Shifts are on a rota basis and will change weekly, they will include day, evening, weekend working. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 28 per week Salary Starting: \xc2\xa38.00-\xc2\xa311.00 per hour as per minimum wage Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills to manage cash register operations efficiently
- Multilingual abilities to communicate with diverse customer base (additional languages are a plus)
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating change
- Ability to sell products and upsell to increase sales revenue
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Phone etiquette skills for handling phone inquiries or assisting with phone orders Note: Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Education:
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
  • Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
  • customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
