Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a

Cashier

to join our Finance team based at our Head Office in

Newry

.


Key responsibilities Include:




Daily reconciliation and recording of cash, cheque, card and voucher takings Preparation of accurate bank lodgements and issuing miscellaneous cheques Managing and reconciling petty cash transactions Supplying stamps, lodgement bags, books and updating till floats Providing admin support to the senior company accountant

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:




Experience of working in an accounts department in a similar role Experience of working on a computerised ledger system Excellent communication skills Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Able to work well individually and as part of a team in a busy office environment
