We are looking for an experienced and personable Bookseller to join our team at Newport Road.

About the Role
This is a dual role, split between book sales and cash office responsibilities. You will play a key part in maintaining our high standards of customer service while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cash handling and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent customer service on the shop floor. Accurately handle large volumes of cash and complete daily reconciliations. Investigate and resolve cash variances efficiently. Complete and verify extensive paperwork and financial checks. Maintain HR records and systems with the highest level of confidentiality. Operate company IT equipment confidently and accurately. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external partners.
About You:
At least 12 months of cash handling and reconciliation experience within a cash office environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Friendly, confident, and professional communication style. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
Hours:
Full-time position, working 5 out of 7 days, including evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
