Cashier/Sales Assistant



We're looking for a friendly, confident communicator to join our Sales team. Do you have a sale driven attitude and are committed to delivering excellence? Then this could be the role for you.



Candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy meeting new people. You will happily interact with customers face-to-face daily to provide the first-class service we are well known for.



The perfect candidate will maintain excellent customer service, whilst processing sales and inputting orders into our system.



This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week.




Salary: 25,900.00 pro rata per annum



We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:Strong customer service experience, ideally within a telesales environment Great telephone manners and email writing skills Ability to engage with customers on the phone in a friendly and professional way Strong computer skills and experience working with Dynamics AX Eligibility to live and work in the UK A good standard of spoken English Great communication and people skills A friendly, positive, problem-solving nature Confidence to handle cash in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and experience of working in a frontline job Computer literacy (including Microsoft Word and Excel)


Responsibilities of the role:Input orders into the system for collection and delivery Identify sales opportunities to grow existing customer accounts Generate sales through contact with prospective customers Respond efficiently to queries with appropriate information on products and services Manage designated accounts Interact with customers and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently Initiate sales leads in order to promote product sales and increase annual turnover, in line with sales targets Generate sales through contact with prospective customers, acting as a sales representative when required
