Cask And Warehouse Sales Executive

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging individual with drive and ideally some sales experience to enter a well-established independent business, which has over 20 years' experience in the Spirits industry. This role will focus on managing our base of existing cask customers, as well as seeking out new clients and provide support to the Warehouse Team based in Elgin by selling casks of whisky as well as warehouse space and services. Also, this individual may expected to host customers and/or tours in our traditional dunnage or racked warehouses, or at our Head Office facility.

Key responsibilities:

Promotes brand names, products, and services. Represents the company in a positive way. Assist customers by helping them guide their whisky stocks from wood to bottle. Promote our bottling hall services. Assist customers with the development of their Cask Whisky stocks. Host warehouse tours for new and existing customers. Manage our existing account base of warehouse customers and drive new opportunities from within this pool of clients. Proactively seeking out new business opportunities and leads for warehouse space. Generate new business opportunities for whisky casks. Regularly check in with our existing customers to ensure we meet their requirements. Build and develop lasting relationships and strong networks with key accounts and new customers.

Desirable skills:

Experience in sales/customer service. Compelling and highly effective communicator, who must have excellent interpersonal skills to develop highly effective internal and external partnerships. Strong selling and negotiation skills. Excellent organisational/administrative skills with very good attention to detail. Demonstrating delivered growth both volume and value. Ability to work with minimal supervision. A professional and presentable demeanour. Strong time/task management skills.

Essential:

Must be willing and able to travel to our sites are across Scotland. Must be willing and able to work at public venues and major events where there are large crowds of people. Must be able to work a flexible schedule which can include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
