Overview

We are seeking EXPERIENCED enthusiastic and RELIABLE individuals to join our team as Bar Staff on a part casual basis.

Work will usually be conducted in the evenings and late nights ranging from Thursday through to Sunday on a rota basis so that weekends are Saturday and Sundays are rotated.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our guests.

The ideal candidates will possess a passion for customer service, a good understanding of standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Previous experience in a bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position is suitable for those looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with company standards. Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times, adhering to safety regulations. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system. Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Provide friendly and professional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of safety standards is desirable. Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer needs and expectations. Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods smoothly. Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
