Important information for candidates:



Applicants must be 18+ and available to work on Wednesdays and weekends between 10pm-2am. This is a casual zero hour contract with variable hours, however it is integral to the position that candidates are available on Wednesday evenings during term time. Please do not apply for this role if you are not available at these times.



Interviews are due to take place week commencing Monday 12 January 2026 with a provisional start date of Wednesday 21 January 2026 for successful candidates.



Role



The Box Office Assistant is a key member of the team, to provide seamless and exceptional customer and client services and be a central link between our venue and our audiences. You will contribute to the effective running of our core business, be passionate about the entertainment industry and provide ticketing services across a wide variety of live events.

About You



Essential Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience



Good communication and diplomacy skills
Team player
Customer focused
Experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
Proactive organiser with good attention to detail

Desirable competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience



Box office experience
Knowledge in using digital ticketing platforms
Experience in a customer service based role
Flexibility to work irregular hours (weekends/evenings/public holidays)

What You'll Be Doing



Scanning and selling tickets for a variety of gig and club night events
Resolving ticketing issues
Supporting customers with accessible requirements
Financial reporting and administration
Working collaboratively with the venue team and partners
