An opportunity has arisen for a Casual Cemetery Operative. Working as part of a team the post holder will be responsible for grave location checks, grave excavation and shoring. They will also assist in maintaining the cemetery grounds and gardens to a high standard for service users and visitors.



Applicants will need to be proficient in the use of hand held power tools. Experience of working within cemeteries and bereavement services environment is essential and experience in dealing with the public and bereaved is desirable.



The post holder will be required to work outdoors in a manual environment as part of a team. You will be required to travel independently between sites and be available to work as and when required.
