About the opportunity:
We are excited to share a new opportunity within our Casual Matchday pool within our Stadium Operations department for Casual Chief Stewards, who will hold responsibility for the overall supervision of all Stewards assigned to their allocated stand.
Key responsibilities include:
Attending pre-match and post-match meetings for discussion and dissemination of information with Club colleagues
Checking designated stand is Matchday ready, reporting any operational stand issues directly to Matchday Control
Liaising with Senior Police Officers providing support and quick response to any incidents, whilst attending Senior Police Command Meetings
Having intermediate knowledge and way finding of designated stand to manage stand efficiency with support of Head and Deputy Stewards
Liaising with Matchday Control and report any untoward incidents within the stand or any matters which requires evaluation, further enquiry or action by the Club, as soon as reasonably practicable
Constant supervision of surrounding areas to ensure the safety and security of spectators by working alongside fellow Chief Stewards.
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for an individuals with exceptional customer service and communication skills and who is confident within a fan facing role, and has experience of working with spectators/members of the public in a high-pressure environment.
To be shortlisted for this role you must have a NVQ Level 3 in Spectator Safety and have completed the Stewards Induction 2025/26 via Workday.
This role is a Casual Matchday position with the closing date for applications being Monday 7th July 2025.
