Lord Hardy Court Residential Home

Lord Hardy Court provide care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia, Learning Disability and the home also provide joint working with NHS to provide Step-up Step-down services to the community.

General Domestic Assistants are required to carry out general cleaning duties, undertake laundry requirements, including washing and ironing, operate relevant machinery and equipment, assist where required to support staff and service users with mealtimes and contribute to the provision of a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for the service users and other customers to the home

Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 1 or Direct Care NVQ or equivalent though training is available in- house and through the councils' own programmes.

Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37hrs for leave and sickness
