Overview

The Hadley Park House Hotel, in Telford are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, preferably within a hotel environment, and will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during their stay.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance throughout the property. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are clean and hygienic. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low. Uphold health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Must be able to work weekends. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding guest information and property security.
