We are currently seeking to recruit a Casual Linen Porter (Casual Room Attendant) that can be flexible around the needs of the business as well as your own commitments.

The Casual Linen Porter role will involve supporting our Housekeeping team with their daily room cleaning duties, but also being able to support individually with cleaning your own quota of rooms as required. The successful candidate will require real attention to detail and the capabilities to work well under pressure - this is a very physical role but critical to our daily operation! This position is engaged on a casual contract for services, therefore work will be given 'as required' by our business levels.

As a Casual Linen Porter (Casual Room Attendant), your key responsibilities include:

Making sure our rooms, service areas, corridors, guest lift areas and fire exits are always at their best and up to the required standards Helping with the daily linen deliveries and ensuring all dirty items are collected and managed properly before the end of every shift Keeping your supervisor updated on room servicing progress and alert them to any delays Being safety aware - follow established safety procedures at all times, and wearing protective equipment when needed Attending your shift on time and completing your daily duties i.e. collecting daily duty sheet, linen stock counts, cleaning rooms to the set standard, changing and replacing linen etc.

The ideal candidate for this role would have:

Previous experience in 4 hotel is desirable, although full training is provided
Good communications skills with a positive and energetic nature It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
