The Ebrington Hotel is now seeking to recruit a Linen Porter for their premises, Ebrington Square, Derry-Londonderry:

Room Attendants - Job Details

Contract: Casual Available

Start date: TBC

Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: Casual Hours

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the supply of linen in the hotel is maintained in accordance with set par stocks To perform the sorting, counting and recording of all linen to ensure sufficient stock is available To check all laundry in and out, ensuring all documentation is checked and completed as necessary Keeping the linen room and stores clean and organised. Supporting the housekeepers in providing stocks as required. Notify supervisor when supplies are low or equipment is not working properly Report any damage or maintenance issues in guest rooms to supervisor Respond to guests' requests in a timely and courteous manner Maintain confidentiality of guest information and privacy of guest rooms Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Assist with the stocking and maintenance of linen closets and supply rooms Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management Attend training sessions and meetings as scheduled

Essential Criteria

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Physical ability to lift, push and pull moderate weight (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods of time Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Criteria

Background in a busy hotel environment
