About the Role
As a Lead Practitioner, you'll design and facilitate outdoor learning experiences rooted in Forest School, wellbeing, and neuro-inclusive practice. You'll work across seasonal programmes, family days, and targeted interventions--bringing creativity, care, and evidence-based approaches to every session.
You'll Be Great At
Leading safe, inclusive outdoor activities that promote emotional literacy, confidence, and connection
Adapting sessions to meet diverse needs, including SEND and trauma-informed approaches
Building trusted relationships with participants, families, and partners
Using reflective practice and wellbeing measures to track impact
Collaborating on resource development and site improvements
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has experience in outdoor learning, youth work, education, or wellbeing
Is confident managing groups in natural settings
Values accessibility, inclusion, and strengths-based approaches
Can work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Holds (or is working towards) relevant qualifications (e.g. Forest School, safeguarding, first aid)

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
