Position Summary
As our Reservation Coordinator at St. Pancras London, it is your responsibility to act as one point of contact between the client and the hotel at all stages. You will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with our clients. This role ensures the hotel is the preferred venue for any F@B related events regardless of size. The Reservation Coordinator will act as a liaison between the hotel and the clients, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.
You Will Be Expected to Deliver
Build and maintain client relationships across all segments to drive bookings. Lead site inspections with cross-departmental support to maximize conversion.
Analyze market trends and competitors to adapt strategy and grow customer accounts.
Influence decision-makers and use strong sales skills to negotiate and close contracts, especially in group and catering segments.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, blitz days, and sales activations to generate new leads.
Coach junior associates and help develop commercial knowledge across the team.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, government updates, and new openings.
Support marketing with third-party platforms.
Track and follow up on leads, enquiries, and managed account activity.
Monitor financial goals, focusing on catering and group pace vs. forecast and budget.
What you will need to know
Background in luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
Familiarity with menus and being able to update, save files with menus, allergens and print when requested by Management.
Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or entertainment industry account management.
Strong knowledge of service, food and beverage offerings within all F@B of the Hotel.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Strong skills, including telephone , upselling, negotiation, and closing.
Solid knowledge of hotel segments, revenue management, contracts, and legal basics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
Skilled in building and managing client and stakeholder relationships.
Good understanding of hotel operations and ability to work cross-functionally.
Hospitality experience required; 5-star/luxury market experience preferred. Passion for sales.
