Casual Security Van Driver (French Speaking)

CTS Logistics is seeking reliable, responsible Security Van Drivers to join our team delivering sensitive, regulated, and high-value consignments across the UK and Europe.

In this role, you'll be responsible for securely loading, transporting, and delivering specialised freight, including:

Dangerous Goods across UN Hazard Classes 1-9 (explosives, radioactive material, and more) Sensitive and prohibited items for defense, government, and critical infrastructure clients
You will be working to ADR regulations and our robust company security plans, ensuring every movement is compliant, precise, and safe.

This is a key strategic position:

You will act as the face of the business, representing CTS professionally while liaising with regulatory and government authorities--particularly during Class 7 (radioactive material) movements into and through France.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving secure vehicles across the UK and Europe, including overnight trips and varied schedules (weekdays, weekends, early starts, and late finishes) Acting as the company's frontline representative with clients and authorities

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

A valid, clean driving licence held for at least 2 years ADR licence (classes 1-9) - training will be provided if needed Fluent or competent French language skills Previous commercial driving experience (advantageous) Physically fit and able to load/unload consignments Basic IT skills (for secure handling of hardware and documentation) Strong customer service focus and a professional attitude Ability to work effectively in a team--most operations are double-manned Residence within 30 minutes of our premises, due to early starts, late finishes, and rapid response requirements Eligibility to work in the UK with 5 years of UK residency (essential for security vetting)

Additional Requirements

All offers are subject to:

Occupational Health Screening (including BMI, hearing, and vision checks) Successful completion and maintenance of the required security clearances

Security vetting is a requirement for all roles at CTS and any offers of employment are made subject to obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide proof of 5 years' UK residency.
