Casual Store Assistant

We're a family-run jewellery business with stores across the region, and we're looking for a motivated Casual Store Assistant to join us.

About the role:

1 day a week, with extra hours for holiday/sickness cover (some Saturdays included) Hours: 9:15am - 4:45pm Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed, we will try to accommodate shift preferences
Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products, promotions, and store policies. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean and organised store environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing. Participate in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting stock takes as required.
What we're looking for:

Reliable, with friendly and approachable demeanour, with a genuine desire to help others. Customer service experience Computer literate Previous experience in jewellery retail is preferred but not essential
