Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or concerns courteously Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service Assist with food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation is advantageous Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to provide outstanding guest services Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance A professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
