We are seeking EXPERIENCED, reliable and enthusiastic Seasonal Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. You must have previous experience and be able to work evenings and weekends especially over the busy Christmas and New Year period, there will also be multiple function shifts in the month of December prior to Christmas. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality control.
Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards.
Skills
Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services.
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in serving roles.
Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary techniques.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
Experience in kitchen operations is an advantage, enhancing understanding of food preparation processes.
