Job Overview

We are looking to add another volunteer to our cat cafe team who will assume the role of creating content in the form of photos and videos for our social media pages (including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) and posting the engaging content to boost the cafe's bookings.

The Kit-Tea Cafe is a non-profit organisation, promoting community mental wellbeing, establishing a safe and nurturing environment for all those who visit us. We are home to 15 rescued and rehomed cats, and often take in vulnerable cats to deliver care. The cafe is run by a team of volunteers dedicating their time.

Duties

Create engaging content in both video and picture forms for social media. Keep up-to-date with relevant topics and trends. Create posts to advertise available cafe sessions and events. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.

Skills

Proven experience in social media management, demonstrating a strong understanding of various platforms. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong level of content creation abilities, keeping up-to-date with current trends. Creative mindset. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting any deadlines set.
This role would suit someone who is a student and perhaps studying a relevant course, or someone with a genuine interest in content creation who wants to boost their portfolio. This is a unique way to directly contribute to our cafe!
