We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cat Sitter to provide exceptional care for cats in their own homes. As a Self Employed Cat Sitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and happiness of all the cats while their owners are away. This role requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with animal care.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for cats, including health check, feeding, water change, scooping litter trays and administering medications as needed.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for the pets in your care.
Engage in playtime and exercise to keep pets active and stimulated.
Monitor the health and behaviour of the cats, reporting any concerns to owners promptly.
Daily updates including photos communicated with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and activities.
Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pet supplies or changing litter trays.
Requirements
Previous experience working with cats is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Strong background in animal care, demonstrating a genuine love for animals of all types but specifically cats.
Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during pet care activities.
