Location: Cumbernauld - Hybrid working arrangement (3 days on site)

This role is a 6 month fixed-term contract. There may be opportunity for this to be extended.

What we\'re looking for...

To work with the category, shopper & sales teams, developing our category influence through:

  • The creation of standard insights reporting using our data systems and Google Sheets/Slides to help build presentations to support the Category team/wider business
  • The creation of category insights to support the building of compelling category sells & stories for our Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Managing \'The Can\'s\' bank of insights & sells to support the sales teams
  • Owning the relationship with JDA to maintain our space planning systems
  • Building and managing our portfolio of customer planograms
  • Maintenance of our data systems including IRI and Kantar
  • Working closely with the field sales team"
Your responsibilities will include...

Working within the Sales Team structure, the Category & Shopper team\'s role is to deliver compelling category insights & sells to drive incremental growth in the UK soft drinks market within out trade customers; and to provide shopper, customer & category insight internally to enable effective planning & execution.
  • To provide data & insight to the wholesale & direct channels to enable more effective selling
  • To provide support around regular report building, space management and for our internal Category team.
  • To provide support in the form of data & insight to a brand hub, helping set direction for strategy.
  • Working with the Senior Category Managers, Category Controller, Marketing & Sales teams to allow the execution of a best in class category strategy in our customers#
  • Supporting the delivery of new distribution and maintenance of existing distribution in our out-of-home and on-trade customers, covering customers ranging from anyone Brakes & Bidfood to Turtle Bay & Greggs.
  • There will be some instances where you will be required to attend meetings with the wider sales teams which in some cases will require you to stay overnight.
What you\'ll bring...

The successful candidate will have;
  • Business related degree or working towards to a degree
  • Strong communication skills, able to confidently communicate professionally with all levels
  • Ability to interpret data including knowledge of Google Slides & Sheets
