Category Manager

Initial 3 month contract with potential to be extended

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Global Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies to achieve or exceed savings targets.

Stay attuned to supplier markets, identifying opportunities resulting from market shifts.

Collaborate with business resources to create and review forward-looking category plans.

Apply diverse commercial models to drive optimal business outcomes.

Foster alignment with key stakeholders across Procurement and business functions.

Lead or support the creation and management of a robust project pipeline.

Effectively communicate complex category concepts to diverse business audiences.

Ensure accuracy in category and project data representation.

Monitor and enhance Procurement\'s performance in Real Estate and Facilities Management categories.

Drive best practices and uphold compliance with Source to Pay processes.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and comprehensive cost modeling.

Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated academic excellence, preferably at the degree level.

Proven leadership in an international procurement environment.

A minimum of ten years of hands-on procurement experience.

Exceptional business acumen for effective engagement with senior management.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, executed with maturity and tact.

In-depth understanding of Best-in-Class Procurement practices.

Outstanding communication and influencing abilities.

Education:

Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field (preferred).
