Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic Category Support Administrator to join our team in Wolverhampton, supporting our PPE, Safety, Janitorial & Chemical category!


This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own. You will effectively build and develop relationships with our internal stakeholders and deliver an exceptional standard of service to help maximise revenue growth.

The Role

We support our customers to ensure they have all the PPE and safety products and spares they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers. As Category Support Administrator you will be involved in:

Corporate Workwear:

Lead the Customer Corporate Workwear proposition within the department Supporting our sales network with creating quotes, artwork & code creation

Business Management:

Support the Category Lead in driving the UK Commercial strategy in their business area (including, but not restrict to, supporting the category proposition, support in promotional activity and driving compliance through our core suppliers)

Category Proposition:

Support the Category Proposition including, but not restrict to, pushing core suppliers and brands through our sales network and our core product assortment

Category Promotion:

Address overall product queries from sales network, internal stakeholders and customers Support quotes, tenders, and special projects

Skills and Experience:

Essential

Ability to liaise with different stakeholders in the organization Experience in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Desirable

Understanding of supplier prices files and structure Understanding of the industry, markets, trends & development Good technical knowledge of the PPE, safety, janitorial & chemical category, products and application Understanding of different suppliers in the categories and main characteristics / differences Data management and analysis
