Our Technical Category Manager will be responsible for managing the complete UK product portfolio from NPI and launch stages to daily product management, working closely with the product team at Group level.
The core objective will be to manage the full UK product portfolio through demonstrated ability to research, analyse and identify trends within the UK & Ireland markets.

Job responsibilities



Work with different stakeholders in gathering information to help identify gaps and product opportunities in the market To be a true product champion in the market and be able to promote the products and brand when engaging with all stakeholders both internally and externally Required to work closely with the Product Marketing team in Europe, supporting business change and growth. Awareness of competitor products and market trends, to ensure we stay ahead of the market, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Proficient in the use of systems and software to collate, analyse and present data with confidence, discussing the details to all stakeholders where required. Produce engaging, creative and powerful MS PowerPoint presentations for various needs (and audiences) including internal meetings, customer meetings, events etc. Excel management and review in relation to Sales data. Product knowledge within the industry, with clear understanding of USPs and technical information in respect of boilers, heat pumps and water heaters across commercial and domestic. Demonstrated ability to discuss all brands within Ariston UK (Ariston, Elco, ATAG) with familiarity and ease, including the full product range within each brand. Understanding of industry legislation and ethical best practices. Any other reasonable tasks assigned within the Marketing area of responsibility.

Job requirements



Technical experience either in the HVAC or similar industry Competent in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word etc.) Competent in written and oral communication Ability to input, analyse, output and present data
