Location: Hartshead Restaurant, OL6 9RW

Pay rate: 12.51 - 22.90hr (shift dependant)

Rota and Hours: Mondays - Sundays, various shifts between on rota basis
07:00 - 15:00 / 09:30 - 17:30

About the Role:

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, from food preparation and hygiene management to customer service and cash handling. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your skills and experience will truly shine.

Key Responsibilities:

Support food preparation and ensure compliance with hygiene standards and allergen awareness protocols. Monitor food temperatures, maintain food safety practices, and uphold excellent hygiene standards. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Handle cash and operate the till accurately and confidently. Contribute to the team's success by working collaboratively and helping maintain a positive atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone with a passion for food and customer service, along with the following qualifications and attributes:

Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and a strong understanding of temperature monitoring, hygiene standards, and allergen awareness. High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail. Proven experience working in a cafe or restaurant environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A friendly and professional attitude with the ability to fit into a close-knit, experienced team. Cash handling and till experience is essential.
