Salary: 13.68 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

Hours: Ad-hoc hours

Location: Willen Hospice

About the role

To support our expanding catering provision on an

ad-hoc only

basis, we have an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the team, providing cover as and when needed, sometimes at short notice.

You will assist in serving customers, making hot and cold drinks and carrying out basic food preparation tasks as requested, including high risk food production such as sandwiches, salads and fresh cakes.

Duties will also include clearing and washing kitchen utensils, loading and unloading dishwasher as required, taking payment for food and ensuring kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills with a can-do and flexible approach, with experience of working in a catering/front of house environment. A food hygiene level 1 certificate would be desirable, however full training will be provided.
