Catering Assistant

to join our friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Job Summary:

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Catering Manager and kitchen team in delivering meals and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Training will be provided, and responsibilities will focus on assisting with day-to-day tasks, ensuring food safety, and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation and service under supervision. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas ("clean as you go" policy). Support stock rotation and proper storage of deliveries. Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times. Provide residents with assistance during meal times to ensure a positive experience. Work well under pressure and as part of a team to meet service deadlines. Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Catering Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

No formal experience required;

full training will be provided

. Basic understanding of food safety (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential). Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. Good communication skills and a caring attitude. Flexibility to work weekends (one weekend on, one weekend off) and overtime if interested.

Hours & Benefits:

24 hours per week

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

. Competitive pay:

12.21 per hour.
