Job Description

We are looking for friendly and hardworking individuals to work within our Catering Team. At Grittleton Adventures we offer schools an outdoor activity packed residential trip. Throughout each day they will take part in a whole range of adventurous and team building activities. After building up a huge appetite they will be provided with three meals a day.

Our Catering Team will need to assist with the preparation and service of these meals to around 200 children per mealtime. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will be available in the restaurant to serve the meals, clear away dishes, ensure food items and drink stations are well stocked throughout service and clean the restaurant after sittings. After sittings you will also be required to help prepare any packed lunches as required for groups throughout the week.

This role will be customer facing and therefore candidates will need to be able to communicate in a friendly and welcoming manner to both children and adults. As a small team we also require flexibility within their duties and be wiling to help other teams at busy times such as housekeeping during switchover days.

We are looking for one individual to cover each of the shift patterns below:

Monday 12:30-16:30 Tuesday 07:30-16:30 Wednesday 07:30-15:00 Thursday 07:30-20:00 Friday 08:15-14:15
Term time only position. Fixed term from 18th February until 31st October 2026

Pay: 12.75 per hour
