Job Description

Term Time only, 11am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (30hrs per week)

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team on a term time only basis.

The ideal candidate will ideally have prior kitchen/catering experience, a passion for food preparation and a can do attitude to work.

Typical duties

- Assist in food preparation and front of house service for pupils and staff lunches / suppers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the catering area, ensuring cleaned to a high standard
- Adhere to food safety standards throughout all stages of food handling

Experience

- Previous experience in a catering environment is desirable
- Knowledge of culinary practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with customer services practices
- Understanding of food safety regulations within a catering setting
