Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to support our catering operations in the staff canteen. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace on-site Catering Team based at Deeside Industrial Estate, CH5.


Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.


Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will need to be reliable, efficient, and have a passion for providing excellent service.


This is a Permanent Role 20hrs per week, working a predominantly Late Night Shift, but could also do some Day shifts - Monday to Friday - we do have some flexibility on the start and finish times, and these shift patterns will be discussed at the face-to-face interview. Transport is essential based on the late shift patterns.

Key responsibilities will include:

To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically. To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required. Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques. Have a thorough understanding of food and beverage concepts, advising customers along with identifying opportunities for upselling. Under guidance, ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas has products correctly priced, labelled, and in date.

Key requirements will include:

Catering experience is preferred, and Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team. Vending & barista experience an advantage. Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene, Natasha's Law, Health & Safety and C.O.S.H.H. compliance. Transport is essential based on the late shift patterns. *
