We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional guest experiences at various events. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality food service. Wage depends on age.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards. Set up and dismantle catering equipment and displays for events. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including proper storage of food items. Timely service and quality control. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or catering is not required. Ideal for someone looking for a first job. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer satisfaction. Ability to cope under pressure. Able to work independently. Good time management and organisational skills. Preferably able to drive (still open to applications from non-drivers)
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
