Catering Services Assistant

Applicant will require to be flexible minimum 16 hour per week working schedule will be between 6.30am and 7.30pm.

Starting Salary of 13.32 per hour.

Hard working, outgoing customer focused individual to help develop the visitor/staff experience within the hospital working closely with customers, patients and staff.

Working in the provision of catering ensuring that the patient receives the highest level of service. Ensure all catering provisions are maintained under the current Food Safety legislation.

To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health & Safety and Personal Hygiene.

To maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in line with current legislation and company policies and procedures.

To ensure all materials and correct methods of work are undertaken in line with company standard and reporting faults.

To assist in both Patient Hospitality Catering under the provision of guidance from supervisor. Ensuring you are able to carry out the role effectively and to the required standards.

To assist the Catering Services Supervisors in the day to day management of the objectives and targets for the service as outlined in the business plan.

To carry out other related duties as required in keeping with the grade and purpose of the post.

To act at all times in a professional manner.

To attend training as required by the Catering Services Supervisors.

Previous catering experience preferred.
