We're looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and flexible individual to join our dedicated team at Johnstown Day Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a lively and rewarding environment, where your role will make a real difference every day.
As part of our catering team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to the people we support. You'll thrive in our busy kitchen setting, where no two days are the same, while ensuring full compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving meals to a high standard
Setting up and clearing tables
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas
We're looking for someone who:
Can build positive relationships with adults with disabilities.
Has good communication and interpersonal skills
Is a team player, but also confident working independently
Shows a willingness to be flexible and take on a variety of tasks
What you'll need:
A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn
Basic food safety knowledge (an advantage, but not essential - full training provided)
