Almond Valley is a much-loved family attraction where history, nature, and fun come together. Our tearoom, Shepherd's Hut, and party spaces are a big part of what makes each visit special and we're looking for a Catering Assistant to help us deliver great food and warm hospitality every day.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you'll be part of a close-knit team helping to prepare and serve freshly made meals, snacks and home baking. You'll support both in the kitchen and front of house, ensuring every very visitor enjoys friendly service and high-quality food whether they're in the cafe, at a birthday party, or grabbing a bite in soft play.

You will work alongside our team to keep everything running smoothly and safely with a smile.

No formal experience is required, as full training will be provided, and you'll be supported every step of the way. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being a friendly team player.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

A friendly, reliable, and positive attitude Team player who communicates well and supports others Ability to stay calm and organised during busy times Willingness to learn and follow training

Desirable (but not required):

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service Interest in food, baking, or customer care Awareness of food hygiene and safety standards
