Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the organisation and delivery of catering services, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. Duties

Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including washing up and sanitising equipment Support with setting up and clearing catering environment or dining areas Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately Provide excellent customer services, addressing any dietary requirements Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during catering events

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Prior experience in contract catering or culinary settings is advantageous but not essential

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
