CATERING ASSISTANT

20 hours per week, Monday- Thursday

Term time only

Annual salary 10, 678

To commence September 2025

We are looking for someone with a positive 'can do' attitude to join our friendly catering team. Duties include assisting with food preparation, cooking and serving of meals and snacks and carrying out cleaning tasks within the kitchen and dining areas.

The role also involves serving on the tills and providing face-to-face service to students, so strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner are essential.

An understanding and awareness of food hygiene is required although training can be given, and an ability to adhere to health and safety regulations.

You will be required to work Monday-Thursday 9.30am-2:30pm term time only. The hourly rate is 14.05 including holiday pay, plus excellent defined pension - Local Government Pension Scheme
